MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
This is our Christmas Card Greetings to all of you. We will be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with friends, Doug and Joanie Thompson. We have been priveleged to spend this time of year with them for a number of years. Our second Christmas (1993) in Alamos, Sonora was being invited for a traditional Norwegian dinner with Lutefisk and lefse at their home and now we will be with them again for the eighth time. Their home is about 2 km out of town in a very quiet area. The grounds of their property has many fruit bearing trees such as avocados, oranges, lemons, grapefruit, bananas, mandarins and we have been enjoying this fresh fruit. It is fenced in with bouganvilla and a variety of bird species visit their watering trough everyday including a covey of Elegant Quail.
We will be enjoying the many festivities and Posadas that take place during this season. We will be staying in this historical town until after the New Year and then we plan to go to Teacapan.
